Who we are

Experience a world of warmth and welcome by visiting our small and vibrant church community, where every face is a friendly one!

We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church, U.S.A. and have been in Dimondale since 1875. You’ve probably heard our bells ringing every hour throughout the village!

We worship God using traditional hymns and liturgy, and we emphasize God’s love, grace, and welcome. To learn more about what Presbyterian’s believe, check out this video. You can also read our Book of Confessions (what we believe) here. Be sure to check out the Brief Statement of Faith on page 311!

Mission

Our mission is to create a spiritual home in the village. We do this through worship, compassionate service for the well-being of our neighbors, and creative sharing of the gospel.

Vision

Rooted in our Presbyterian heritage and guided by the creativity of the Holy Spirit, our vision is to be an expansive and close-knit Christian worshipping community in the village of Dimondale. We are learning to trust in God through all stages of life, and we practice this through our worship and outreach. We strive to create a community of acceptance - not just tolerance - for people in the village as we live into our identities as God’s Beloved.

Cooperative Ministry

We are partners in ministry with Delta Presbyterian Church, who are our neighbors down the road in Delta township. We call this partnership a “cooperative ministry” which means that we share a pastor, a music director and choir, and celebrate communion together once a month. We’re also exploring different ways to share ministry together as we discover God’s unimaginable next! To read more about our relationship, check out this document.
